Alice's Torchic (むぎのアチャモ Mugi's Achamo) is the second Pokémon obtained by Mugi, and her "starter Pokémon". Starting Out Fresh! was it's first appearance.
Having just received Torchic in Starting Out Fresh!, Alice's Torchic hasn't had much detail piled onto it.
Physiology[]
Torchic is a small baby bird that is covered in orange and yellow downy feathers. Its wings are underdeveloped and are almost useless aside from keeping the Pokémon warm. Its legs and feet however are well developed for running and scratching. It also has a crest on its head which vaguely resembles a flame. It also possess a flame sac much like other fire Pokémon: Vulpix and Flareon.
Male Torchic has a very small black speck on their rears. Females do not have this mark.
Torchic is rare in the wild, and is most likely to be found under the possession of Trainers that choose it as a starter. However, in the wild it is most likely to be found in Hoenn.
Personality[]
Being a young Pokémon, Torchic is naturally curious and is very inquisitive about things. Thus, it needs someone to guide it and to train them. They will follow its trainer with unsteady steps. Individual personalities range from meek to headstrong. Torchic apparently doesn't like the dark because it cannot see what is in front of it.
Abilities[]
Like many Fire-types, Torchic is able to breathe fire from its beak.
