Pokémon X & Y: Enter the Kalos Region - A Review

So, this has been a long time coming, but, having finally finished most of the more important features of the first games of Generation VI, I feel, as founder of this wiki, that it is time to do an in-depth review of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. If you do not yet have the game, or do not wish to be spoiled, go no further! For those who have, however, continue on; we have a lot to cover!

  • 1 Part I — The Kalos Region
  • 2 Part VI — Other Features

Mega Charizard X confirmed

So, we are literally ten days (nine if you're on the other half of the world, I think) away from the release of Pokémon X and Y, and let's face it, we all are hyped. This sexy bastard is part Dragon. You heard right. After 17 years, Charizard now finally has the Dragon typing it should have had in the original games. Here's the official trailer:

Now let's talk specifics.

Mega Charizard's scales (I…

Linking to Bulbapedia

I personally like Bulbapedia more than the Pokémon 'pedia based on this Wikia, so I create three link templates to go to Bulbapedia. They are Template:Bu (for general articles), Template:Bp (for species of pokémon), and Template:Bm (for pokémon moves). If the name of the article has more than one word, you need to use the underscore _ to connect the words, then use the straight line | to divide it from the rewritten name. For example, if you want to link to the move Iron Tail, you would put and that would yield . I'm seeing if I can adjust the template to recognize multi-worded article names. If anyone has any questions about the use of the templates, say so in a comment.

That is all.
