Mewtwo (ミュウツー, Mewtwo) is a powerful Psychic-type legendary pókemon.
It is the fourth of its kind, and third created by Team Rocket. It is a reoccurring antagonist in Pokémon — Advance Frontier under the ownership of Giovanni.
History[]
This Mewtwo, as revealed in Mewtwo: The Awakening, was created by cloning Mew, and using the atomic structure of the Jade Orb. Giovanni created it as an alternative to another specimen, which, like the first, turned out to be unruly and defied him.
Biology[]
Mewtwo is a creature with a humanoid frame, but has some feline features. Mewtwo's body is grey with a long, green tail, as this Mewtwo is shiny. It has three circular pads on its fingers and opposable toes on the inside of its feet, like many real-world primates, as well as two others that face forward. It has emerald-green eyes (that glow blue during some attacks) and two blunt horns. One of Mewtwo's most notable features is the tube extending from the back of its skull to its spine. It is most likely a secondary spinal cord, or a system of nerves, allowing for an increased amount of blood and sensory transmission to the brain, heightening its psychic powers.
Personality[]
Due to the adverse effects of the Jade Orb being involved in its cloning, this Mewtwo lacks the intelligence of the others, and thus, cannot speak, though it can understand human talk, like any other Pokémon. It seems to be extremely obedient to Giovanni, a very big change of pace given previous versions of the same Pokémon.
Abilities[]
Mewtwo's Ability is Pressure. This makes Mewtwo immune to Teravolt and Turboblaze. Beyond this, it is unknown how this ability can be used. Due to the Jade Orb's structure being within its genetics, this Mewtwo is also somehow tied to the abilities of the orb; specifically controlling the powers of Sacrelivo.

Trivia[]
- This Mewtwo marks several firsts;
- It is the first time a Shiny Mewtwo has appeared.
- The first time a Mewtwo has willingly obeyed Giovanni.
- The first Mewtwo incapable of speech.
- Also unlike other Mewtwo, its gender or gender-based personality, is unknown.
- This Mewtwo is technically Shiny due to its connection to the Jade Orb. This goes along with the theme that several of Hora's legendary Pokémon are Shiny.
